Richard Morris TEP
Principal Solicitor
Richard has been practising law for the best part of 20 years.​​​
Originally from Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle, Richard spent about 15 years living in the New England region of NSW and has made the Mid North Coast his home since 2017 with his wife and four sons.
​
Richard holds a Masters in Applied Law (Wills & Estates) and being admitted as a Full Member of the global Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP). At last count there are less than 10 lawyers admitted to STEP outside of Sydney in NSW.
Richard specialises in all facets of Succession Law, from Wills, Testamentary Trusts, Enduring Powers of Attorney, Appointments of Enduring Guardians and superannuation planning, to Probate and Letters of Administration and estate litigation such as family provision claims and contested grants.

Richard is well versed in civil litigation and disputes, and provides advice and assistance for business and property law matters.​​​

Brooke is a Port Macquarie local, who has worked closely with Richard Morris since being admitted as a solicitor in 2020.

Achieving excellent academic results during her law degree, Brooke is passionate about assisting clients and is adept at navigating complex estate and civil litigation, and servicing client's needs in Estate Planning, and Business Law.
David Shannon

David was formerly the Principal Solicitor of Searson Shannon & Co and has over 40 years experience as a lawyer, with a particular focus on crime and family law. With exceptional business acumen and a vast knowledge of property development, David is a wonderful resource for staff and clients.
David can provide advocacy assistance to clients of Morris Succession Lawyers upon request.
Michelle Gow

Michelle is an exceptional legal professional, with a wealth of knowledge from decades of experience, a sharp legal mind and rare level of attention to detail. ​
